I have been painting for more than fifteen years, working with different media such as oil, pastel, ink, and texture. Painting is my way of expressing feelings that are hard to put into words. Fireplace is about inner heat, energy, and contrast, the quiet darkness above and the burning red below. It reflects strength, memory, and emotion, like a fire that can warm or burn. I leave space in my work for the viewer’s own interpretation, because I believe each painting continues its life through the feelings it awakens in others.
