I now have the time and headspace to devote to my passion of painting and drawing. I graduated from Queensland College of Art in 1984. Good things come to those who wait. 

There is a certain mystery in an inanimate object, ordinary everyday details which are seemingly overlooked and deserve questioning.
Reality is normal, but through portraying slices of something which has the property of being real, one can observe an illusionary magical strength in the mundane object and exaggerate or make obvious relationships and happenings which are normally ignored.

One messes around with perspective and precision and even realism for anti-real purposes, or in order to suggest a new reality resulting from mystery and incongruity.
