Beverley has been an artist for 50 years and has received many accolades including Fellowship of the Royal Queensland Art Society. Working in acrylics, Beverley uses luscious colours, bold brushwork and layering to create her evocative abstracts. She is not trapped by academic rules or limited to a single style.
"Journeying" was inspired by landscape seen on many years of travelling the New England Highway - seasonal changes from wet to dry; peach blossom; wattle; and rock formations.
