With the world in unimaginable chaos, an overwhelming sense of guilt consumes me. It is hard to gather the strength needed to create. Along with feeling completely disillusioned with humanity, my craft at present seems superfluous.

This work is a response to that disillusionment. 
And therefore, I set about to create a space of calm and safety.
A place of respite for the viewer.
A place Miles Away from the Madness!! 

That place is Red Beach on Bribie Island within the Moreton Bay City Council. A landscape I have painted repeatedly and will continue to do so. This landscape is abundant in flora and fauna. It is not uncommon to spot a Green Tree Snake, Yellow-tailed Cockatoo, Wallaby and Bullnose Dolphin on the same day.
