I am an artist who enjoys experimenting across a range of mediums, with watercolour being my favourite means of expression. This abstract painting draws inspiration from the wild beauty of the Tasmanian bush, expressing the variety of bristly textures and layers of colours with loose, fluid mark-making. Using an intuitive approach, I allow the materials to interact freely, reflecting my fascination with the landscape of Tasmania. My work aims to capture a feeling, inviting viewers to share my delight in this beautiful place.
