Brisbane is the "river city" and the river brings life to all that enjoy her. The river constantly changes with the weather. We are drawn to the banks of the river for leisure, exercise and a way of transiting our city. Living on the river, I get to witness all of the spectacle of life in Brisbane City. The scene around Riverwalk is constantly changing. From the calmness of the river at first light with the rowers and cyclists on riverwalk, to the joggers, the commuters, the families and it just keeps on throughout the day, until the party goers traverse the river and riverwalk at night. I was walking along riverwalk one afternoon and was drawn to the architecture of this fabulous Brisbane asset. After days of rain, everyone was enjoying the brilliant sunshine streaming across from west to east on their afternoon commute. I've painted golden rays to depict our Queensland Sunshine.
