Brisbane landmark, heritage listed, the Story Bridge was named after John Douglas Story, a public servant. Engineer, John Bradfield designed the cantilever bridge and also the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

What began as a sketch, the basis for a painting, became an intense study of shape, line and tone. For the artist this exercise becomes a form of meditation, and escape. ‘The process not the product’ is the reward.
